Thermal Guard heat transfer fluids  Thermal Guard EG is an ethylene glycol-based fluid that is widely used for heating applications and secondary cooling, for burst and freeze protection of pipes, and for various deicing, defrosting, and dehumidifying applications.
Thermal Guard EG contains a specially formulated package of industrial inhibitors that help prevent corrosion.  Thermal Guard PG is a propylene glycol-based fluid that contains a specially formulated package of industrial inhibitors that help prevent corrosion.
Because propylene glycol fluids have low acute oral toxicity, Thermal Guard PG is often used in applications where contact with food or beverage products could potentially occur.  Thermal Guard PGHD heat transfer fluid is a formulation of 94.0 percent propylene glycol and a specially formulated package of industrial inhibitors. The fluid is dyed bright yellow to assist in leak detection. Thermal Guard PGHD is often used in higher temperature applications and solar systems.
Thermal Guard PGHD is well suited for HVAC applications because its inhibitor package offers additional corrosion protection for systems containing copper components.  Thermal Guard EGSE coolants are specially formulated to protect large, stationary Diesel engines — including engines used in gas transmission compressor station service — against over-heating, winter freeze-ups and corrosion.
The fluid is dyed a Fuchsia color to aid in leak detection.  Thermal Guard PGSE are specially formulated glycol-based coolants designed to protect your system from over-heating and freeze-ups.
Due to the Propylene Glycol based formula they are very low in oral toxicity and offer special protection against cavitation erosion damage in wet sleeve liners of diesel engines. Thermal Guard PGSE comes in various pre-diluted mixes.  Thermal Guard XL is a specially formulated Organic Acid Technology (OAT) that delivers total cooling system protection. Thermal Guard XL is phosphate-free, silicate-free, nitrite-free and borate-free formula.
It is formulated using a proprietary organic corrosion inhibitors to provide outstanding long-term wet sleeve liner cavitation and corrosion protection to all cooling system metals. Thermal Guard XLC is a specially formulated Organic Acid Technology (OAT) that delivers total cooling system protection. Thermal Guard XLC is phosphate-free, silicate-free, nitrite-free and borate-free formula.
